10th December 2024 Newsletter |
Kia Ora Tatou, Congratulations to the Touch team who were at Nationals in Rotorua. Gaining fourth place is South Otago High Schools best ever result at the competition. I believe it is also the best result ever by an Otago team in this grade. A well deserved end to a huge amount of time and effort that has gone in over the year and years. Thank you to all those that supported and travelled with the team. I will largely let the pictures speak for themselves in this newsletter. The junior activities days were a big success. With students having fun from Queenstown to Stewart Island and many places in between. Ki O Rahi was a great afternoon, despite the wind and threats of rain, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly competition between classes. Thanks to the PE department for making this happen. And finally…. Celebrating student success is such a good way to end the year. I was proud to see all the students cross the stage and equally proud to see such a good level of support from their friends. I hope everyone has a safe and fun filled festive season and I look forward to a successful 2025 together. Ka kite ano Nigel Scarth - Acting Principal |
