Celebration and challenge.

Term 1V is about the opportunity to celebrate our achievers this year but also recognise our challenges of term 1V academically.

 Our celebrations have been and will be the;
  • Sports Awards
  • Arts N Culture Awards
  • Mana Maori Awards
  • Pasifika Awards
  • Senior Academic Prizegiving
  • SHINE Awards
  • Junior Prizegiving

We have also celebrated the re-opening of the Jackson Auditorium - Te Tiakihana Whare Tapere with a blessing on Wednesday 19th of October. This blessing was led by our Kaumatua and Kuia, Warahi and Linda Paki, and our student leaders from our Rumaki and Kapa Haka and Prefects.
This whare is where we will celebrate all of these award events with students, teachers, family, and whānau. Our three pillars that make up this college.

Our challenge is to ensure as many of our senior students achieve and complete their Internal Assessments and are prepared for their External Achievements so they can pathway into senior school and high-end Tertiary Career Training at either universities or trade apprenticeships.

So, our focus over these next few weeks is sharp. We want our students and rangatahi to be the very best they can be.

Nga mihi
