As part of our Waitākere Way, we have taken the opportunity to celebrate and congratulate our peers.
Our Achievers Assembly last week acknowledged our Achievers now in Years 12 and 13. All Achievers were recognised and students who gained Merit or Excellence Endorsements received further recognition. Our NZQA Scholarship winners Athena Li Watts, Bryn Rogers, Henry Eggers, and Luka Yelash along with their teachers Kate Bartlett, Amy Petrie, Jane Coup, and Kate Storer were also acknowledged. Congratulations once again to all these students and teachers and thank you parents and whānau for your support over 2022 for this success to happen.
We celebrated our first Fiafia night in 3 years with students, tutors, teachers, family and whānau. It was great to see the celebration of our diverse cultures in our college from Kapa Haka, Cook Is, Filipino and Sāmoan groups perform on the night. It is that magic of student's voice back in the College. This newsletter continues to celebrate and highlight many other achievements and successes at many levels that our students are involved in. It is part of our Waitākere Way and sharing in the values of caring and respect that we have for our students, teachers, family and whānau.
If your tamariki or mokopuna are involved in positive success stories, share them with us as we go through this year.
Ngā mihi
