Thursday 27th April 2023 | Term 2 Week 1 |
Welcome back to Term 2! We hope you had a restful break and are ready for another exciting term of learning and growth.
Thanks to the Teachers, Students, Parents and YMCA who participated in and created Monday’s successful Year 7-10 Wellbeing Day (see article) and to everyone involved with the Year 11-13 Tournament Training. It was a great way to kick-off the term.
We have some upcoming events to look forward to next week. On Thursday 4th, M4 will visit the Tekapo Power Station as part of their studies. This will be a fantastic opportunity for students to see first-hand how electricity is generated and learn about sustainable energy practices. We hope they have a great time and gain valuable insights from the experience.
Please note that Year 11 students will be home rostered under the PPTA's industrial action next week on Thursday, 4th May. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding and support. Our teachers remain committed to providing the best education possible for our students, and we are confident that we can navigate this situation together.
Don’t forget, Friday is a required Curriculum Refresh Teacher Only Day - you can learn more about the Curriculum Refresh here.
As always, we encourage all students to make the most of their time at school, stay engaged in their learning, and take advantage of the many opportunities available to them. We wish everyone a successful and enjoyable term ahead!
