At present, the junior school, composed of 800 students from Years 9 & 10, and the ISC, make up the College at this time. Half the school in - the juniors, half the school out - the seniors.
The seniors are attending NZQA Exams and a handful are attending study tutorials prior to their external assessment.
The energy and enthusiasm of the juniors is refreshing and reflects the arrival of finally, some warm weather. The fields at interval and lunchtime are full of active students enjoying social sport and each others company.
Units of work are still being covered for the year so it is school as normal.
Upcoming events are;
- Year 10 Camp in the Coromandel in week 7 and 8
- Auckland Volleyball champs
- Auckland 7' rugby
- Shine Awards evening
- Weekly sports of tennis, cricket And touch
- Junior Prize givings - Years 9 & 10
This is a four-week window for the junior school students to consolidate their learning and strengthen their ownership of our values - Caring, Learning and Respect.
