We come to the end of 2022 with celebrations and gratitude for a successful year.
Congratulations to the prize-winners in the Years 9 and 10 Prize-Givings held this week. Your Manawanui of never giving up, never giving up, never giving up has resulted in recognition and reward for the mahi and positive results you achieved. Congratulations to you and your parents and wider whānau.
I am very grateful to our parent/whānau community this year. You have managed the challenges of raising teenagers and provided consistency and certainty for them so that they have developed positive routines of attending school, learning and just being positively present in their communities.
These positive patterns and routines ensure they are in a good place to prepare for Year 10 and Year 11 in 2023.
Thank you to all our staff who have provided a caring environment and set positive expectations for good learning for our Rangatahi. The mana our staff have, being flexible but consistent in their response to the challenges this year inspires me.
As we spend time with our families and whānau over this break look for opportunities to celebrate and take the opportunity to show gratitude to others.
