Pathways of Sharpness

We are now in the 'groove' of Term 3 so to speak. What does this mean?
The reality is for us as teachers it is getting the core aspect of our job done over the next 7- 8 weeks, Learning. As outlined in previous newsletters there are many events that can ambush learning so we are ensuring our routines and patterns of school learning are foremost in our planning.

Events such as our Mid Term Break on Monday 2/9/24, Tournament Week, and the Senior Ball are positive distractions but should not derail good learning and achievement.
Students, teachers, family and whānau all need to plan around such events.

Our focus has been on Course Selection Interviews (CSI) with teachers, students and their whānau on positive pathway decisions from years 11 to 12 this week. These decisions will hopefully sharpen the minds now as to what is needed to be achieved in preparation for year 12 next year.
CSI will also occur for year 12 students soon to ensure they have a sharp focus on achievement this year in preparation for year 13 in 2025.
Stay sharp and achieve so 2025 can be better than before (BTB)

Ngā mihi
