Thursday 23rd March 2023 | Term 1 Week 8 |
Kia ora e te whānau,
We hope this newsletter finds you well. Last week was busy for us at Twizel Area School, with both the strike day and Jumbo Day taking place. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for their patience and understanding during this time. We understand these events can disrupt the school schedule, and appreciate your support.
We would like to wish our Aoraki Volleyball participants, Portobello Biology Camp learners, M2 Campers (and their resilience through bad weather), and Maadi Cup Rowers well for their respective competitions and learning programs. We are proud of our students for their hard work and dedication to their passions. We know they will proudly represent our school and bring their best efforts to their endeavours.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the community for supporting all of these students, particularly for the financial support for the rowers. Seeing our community come together to support our students is heartwarming, and we are grateful for your generosity and kindness.
Lastly, this is a friendly reminder to purchase your movie tickets before April 1st. This promises to be a great event; we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the fun. Thank you once again for your ongoing support of Twizel Area School.
He waka eke noa,
Kate Staniford Tumuaki | Principal |
