Kia ora koutou,

I trust that you are well and that you have recovered from the recent unprecedented weather events.  If the college can be of assistance, please let me know.

It was fantastic to welcome our new students today in a powhiri which was very well supported by our community.

By the end of tomorrow, students from all year groups will have officially started their 2023 school year at Orewa College.

We are fully staffed, have a school roll approaching 2000 students (including over 50 International Students) and are committed to providing the most supportive learning environment possible for all students.

Additionally, the college is developing students holistic and citizenship skills and attributes.  Character naturally grows from the kaupapa core value of Manaaki Orewa (respect for all).

Please note our timetable for 2023 and in particular the options for students in Year 11,12 and 13 on a Wednesday afternoon.  Senior school students will have choice of attending a range of department workshops/tutorials after lunch or have home study/work/other.

The 2023 school year is going to be another dynamic, engaging and successful year for all students at Orewa College.

Ngā mihi
