The End is Nigh
As we come to the end of another busy term, we can catch our breath about the events of this term and prepare for Term 3. We have celebrated the diversity in the College and our community in general. From our Anti-Bullying Pink Shirt Day, Sāmoan Language Week, Matariki Celebration, and our first Market Day. All have involved student voice and participation with students and staff looking at how they can adjust and refine these events in 2023.
Our Assessment Week ran with minimum disruption to our teaching day and timetable. Information and evidence on academic progress allow us as teachers to justify the grades students have on their reports they have or will receive. This allows good participation in the Parent Teacher Evenings held in the last two weeks of term.
From these events and information gathered, students, teachers, family, and whānau can now take a breath and work on setting achievable goals in Term 3. This is the time for making solid, achievable goals that can yield fantastic results for the end of the year. Take the opportunity to reflect on the information and celebrations of this term and prepare for term 3.
