Reflect and Set Goals

As we come to the end of the penultimate week of the term, it is an opportunity to reflect and to prepare for the last week.
Academically, Level 2 and 3 coursework will have had or completed at least one Internal Standard in most subjects. Level 1 now has these long standards but we have milestones in place to guide and inform the students on their progress.

All Senior students in years 11 - 13 doing Level 1, 2 or 3 NCEA will have received a progress report and will have taken the opportunity to meet their subject teachers at our Parent/Student/Subject Teacher conference on Thursday night. Thank you for taking that opportunity.
Junior Subject Reports are being issued today by email so parents and whānau can reflect on progress for term 1 using that information.

Use this information to set goals for the last week of term and the first few weeks of term 2.
Establishing the discipline of good attendance, positive patterns of behaviour and the structure of good learning routines will ensure that each student will be the best they can be as the year progresses.
As Gilbert Enoka states, "Structure is king, and discipline is your superpower."
