Focus.
As we move into the final 2 weeks of Term III the activity of the College only gets busier. Our lens is on academic achievement.
Week IX is Senior Assessment Week. Every period 1 of each day is a 2-hour assessment opportunity (some are 3 hours).
For those doing external assessments, this allows students to be tested against the external standards they will sit in November. It will be a marker for each student to see how they have gone in their prelims and what preparation and time they have to put in from now until November in the 3 school weeks that are left.

For those doing internal assessments, it provides workshops to complete the standards and judges just how much final work is needed.
Students have absolute control of their journey from this point onwards. Use this assessment week which finishes on Tuesday 27/9/22 and the normal timetable resumes on Wednesday 28/9/22.
There is no exam leave over this time. All students are required at school full time over the next 2 weeks.
Students in Years 9 and 10 will follow this timetable as well so there will be double periods of their 1st subject each day.

The key purpose of our College is academic achievement and learning the skill set to cope with the challenges and opportunities beyond school.
This focus is now very sharp in these final 4 school weeks for our seniors.
