 Dear Parents and Caregivers
The PPTA have instructed schools that there will be rolling strikes in September. To align with the PPTA action, the Massey High School Board and the school have decided to roster home students in the year groups as per the table below. This means that each year group will not be in school for the duration of the ‘rostering home’ day. The following year levels will be affected by this: Monday 15th September - Years 12 and 13 (See note below) Tuesday 16th September - Year 11 Wednesday 17th September - Year 10 Thursday 18th September - Year 9 Please note, on Monday 15th September there are no students at school on that day (as per our year planner from the beginning of this year, so all students will already be at home on that date.) We ask that you make alternative arrangements for the care of your child/children on the days of the rolling strikes. Massey High School will be open for instruction for all other year groups on these days, with all students, other than those rostered home, expected to attend. There will be no changes to our bus services on these days. We do apologise for any inconvenience that this industrial action will cause for our community.
