Connection and Celebration

We are at the point of the term where summer sport is about to finish, making way for the advent of winter team sports. Simultaneously, our Cultural groups are gearing up to grace the prestigious Polyfest stage.
Our sporting teams have competed in cricket, volleyball, tennis, touch, orienteering and athletics.

We have had outstanding results with Maia Masters as 100m, 200m and Long Jump 1st placings in the Zone Champions and our Premier Mixed Touch team are the Auckland Champions.
Heartfelt congratulations are in order for each one of you, for the preparation, unwavering effort and rigorous training, that led to these remarkable achievements.

Polyfest marks a vibrant beginning to the year, fostering cultural bonds among our students, faculty, families, whānau and community. This celebration of cultural diversity enriches the fabric of our College, weaving together a tapestry of traditions and heritage.
Our teams involved in the Polyfest celebrations this year are Kapa haka, Sāmoan, Cook Islands, Filipino, Indian and Romani.

We congratulate you all on the preparation, effort, training and Manawanui that you are putting in for this celebration.

Ngā mihi
Mark P Shanahan
