The heat is on!
As the weather cools, the learning heats up this term. We are back in good learning routines with very high daily attendance. Students are getting clear opportunities to learn and reach success with internal assessments. Field trips that relate to evaluation content are now occurring. More authentic learning opportunities are happening and planned as we progress through this term. Teachers are working to focus on good learning opportunities and are energised by the opportunities of a disrupted free term. They manage their content and assessment plan with flexibility but are confident as we move forward. Our parents and whanau are now receiving Weekly Reports and will shortly receive the Student Learning Panui, which will summarise what was covered over term 1 and what will be covered this term. We continue to follow Covid Health Prevention Protocols as outlined on our website and encourage the students to wear appropriate masks indoors. Ensuring our students and community remain healthy allows us to continue having excellent attendance for good academic success. As covered last week, the winter Sports codes are now underway, which adds another fantastic opportunity for our students, staff, parents and whanau to enjoy success in their school life.
